RED BALLOON-NEW VERSION.Proposed shot list

1. stealing the bottle from the homelss person, whos asleep on the park bench.
2. drinking the contents of the bottle, throwing it away.
3. bottle then re-appears, full, aparantly taking on a life of its own.
4. follows the young ned to the bus stop.
5. discovers that they cant get on the bus as the bottle isn't allowed
6. they decide to walk to school instead of getting the bus.
7. bottle isnt allowed in the classroom, so ned gives it to the janitor to look after.
8. ned is in class sitting at desk looking fed up.
9. bell rings she leaves to go and retreve the bottle.
10. goes to janitor office and lets himself in to get his bottle.
11. jumps up and down trying to get bottle from shelf.
12. pulls over chair to get it.
13. walks home bottle follows.
14. starts to rain, ned shelters his new friend with his umbrella.
15. arrive at neds house.
16. mum wont let the bottle in house, throws it out of the window.
17. ned is in bedroom, his friend the bottle hovers at the window trying to get attention.
18. after a while of getting the neds attention, the ned gives in and climbs out the window to get his friend.
19.the walk about for a while occasionally stopping so the ned can have a drink.
20. they are at the shopping precinct when a gang of neddy bullies turn up.
21. they look at each other and run.
22. the bottle and the ned hide for a while in a shop door way.
23. thinking its safe they leave the hiding place.
24. bottle and ned walk down lane, bullies appear again .
25. they are chased around for a while.
26. bullies throw stones at them (the bottle).
27. the bottle is broken.
28. ned falls to knees in dispair.
29. slowly the ned realises that the days events were different from how first perceved. this is shown through a series of memories flashing back.

flash back. 1. prior to finding the bottle ned girl is bumped by ned boy.
2. distraught she steals bottle of booze from old man on park bench.
3. drinks the bottle dry.
4. subconciously goes to a shop for another bottle, grabs it from shelf and runs out the shop.
5. her friend shouts for her and ned girl pretends not to hear.
6. bus driver refuses to let a drunk on bus.
7. at the school janitor confiscated the bottle.
8. mum goes ballistic that she has come home drunk, trows bottle out window. sends ned girl to bedroom.
9. anoyed and drunk, she jumps out window, finds bottle lying on grass.
10. sees "bullys" comming round corner, they aren't bullies they are her friends, and her old boyfriend looking for her.

30. she look up after realising the truth, she sees that the bullies are her friends.
31. one of them aproach her and help her up.
